It’s been a while! We recorded this one on February 3 — after both of us were incapacitated due to bad colds. These things happen…
But when we recorded, we had been doing quite a few things. The “Muslim Ban” had been enacted by our President, and Mike went to Dulles Airport to protest and spread a message that immigrants and refugees are welcome here. Faiqa and her family marched in Memphis to the National Civil Rights Museum. And so much other stuff happened in the aftermath — like the Bowling Green Massacre (not real) and the kinship between protesters of different faiths and cultures. Like, for instance, here:
